Join us in March as Rebecca Keeler, our League secretary, a retired lawyer who practiced constitutional law in Florida and who taught constitutional law at ETSU, refreshes our memory of the Constitution. This timely presentation will briefly survey the powers given to the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches of government and focus more on how checks and balances are intended to prevent any one branch from becoming too powerful.
