LWV Williamson County hosts Dr. Mary Evins, Professor Emerita in the Department of History at Middle Tennessee State University

You are invited to attend our February 18th meeting featuring Dr. Mary Evins, Professor Emerita in the Department of History at Middle Tennessee State University. She will be highlighting the efforts of Tennessee women at the turn into the last century, and their long-term impacts. Her presentation is based on her two anthologies, Tennessee Public Women in the Progressive Era: Toward the Public Sphere in the New South (2013) and Constructing Citizenship: Tennessee Public Women in the Progressive Era (2026), both published by University of Tennessee Press.
