Restoring Voter Rights (RVR) is at the heart of our most precious right in a democracy – the right to vote. The LWVTN Goals are trifold: Education, Outreach and Advocacy. Current projects include disseminating brochures containing steps in the restoration process, surveying all Tennessee county agencies to determine their restoration process (currently non-standardized) and partnering with the University of Tennessee Legal Clinic to inform volunteers and their clients who want to restore voting rights.

Join Dr. Kathy Greenberg, Professor Emerita, Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, who also serves as Director of Voter Services for the League of Women Voters Knoxville/Knox County as she discusses the RVR initiative and her work in coordinating this statewide effort of educating the public and standardizing Tennessee’s policies to make it possible for eligible citizens to restore their voting rights again.
