As an extra incentive this year, your local ed fund account will receive $25 for each recorded observation. In addition, volunteers who observe election sites beyond their county will receive direct mileage reimbursement from the LWVTN Ed Fund.
What do we need from you?
-Identify a point person to handle the poll observer credentialing with the county election commission.
-Promote poll observing to your members.
-Attend a training session.
When are the training sessions?
LWVTN will be repeating our training sessions on the following nights
Dates: Mondays, October 12, 19, and 26.
What will poll observers need on election day?
-Each poll observer will need a "credential" issued by the county election commission in order to be allowed into the polling location as a non-voter.
-A cell phone or iPad that can be used to fill out the observer reporting form online.
