Join LWV Oak Ridge as they host Kris Kirby, Superintendent of Manhattan National Historic Park.

The Manhattan National Historic Park encompasses Oak Ridge, TN;  Los Alamos, N.M., and Hanford, WA. Superintendent Kirby will talk about the Park: its history, its formation; its function; its future - among other topics. Superintendent Kirby began her duties as Superintendent of the Park in October 2016. The Park was established in November 2015 to preserve portions of three WWII sites where the U.S. developed the world’s first atomic weapons.
